CERTIFICATE III IN BUSINESS
(Under School-Based Traineeship)

BSB30120 Certificate III in Business is designed for trainees to develop their skills to apply for a broad range of tasks and technical duties to support a team in the workplace. It also aims to develop their skills to provide a quality customer-oriented service to customers whilst working effectively as part of a team. In addition to the customer service and team skills, you will be able to learn and practice some office administrative tasks and find solutions to workplace issues including workplace health and safety.
The graduates who successfully complete this course will be able to work in the following job roles yet not limited to;

- Customer Engagement Officer
- Customer Service Adviser
- Data Entry Operator
- Office Administrator

- Work Processing Operator
Course Duration:
Under the ATCWA Work-Based Traineeship arrangement, you will complete this course within 52 weeks (12 Months).
Delivery Mode & Schedule:
Since the training and assessment is conducted in the workplace, this program is highly flexible and self-paced. Trainees who will be eligible to study under the ATCWA “Work-Based Traineeship” program will be able to achieve this qualification whilst learning and performing in their current job roles. According to the skill level of each trainee, the delivery and assessment plan of the course will be customised and adjusted to meet their learning styles and needs. Commencement date is negotiable.
Entry Requirements:
You will be able to enrol in this qualification if you can demonstrate the following.
- Be 18 years of age or above
- Be an Australian citizen or a Permanent residence
- Meet the ATCWA’s Language, Literacy, and Numeracy (LLN) requirements applicable to the level of the qualification
Training & Assessment Strategy:
According to the Work-Based Traineeship plan, the following methods of delivery and assessment will be used to suit your learning style, learning needs, workplace conditions and the requirements of each unit of competency.
- Face to face discussions, learning activities and some skills observation tasks conducted in the workplace
- Work-based training and assessment activities to complete on or off the job
- Skills demonstrations and observations in the workplace
- Portfolio Evidence
- Other specific training and assessment methods that may applicable in order to the requirements of the units of competency

Fees Applicable:
Trainees who will be eligible to study under the work-based traineeship do not require to pay any fee.
