This qualification reflects the role of individuals in a variety of information and communications technology (ICT) roles who have significant experience in specialist technical skills, or managerial business and people management skills. Further, it aims developing your skills and knowledge to carry out complex tasks in a specialist field, working independently, leading a team or a strategic direction of a business. You will be able to apply these skills across a wide range of industries and business functions, or as a business owner. The core skills that you develop in this qualification include, but are not restricted to:

  • Advanced data management information: creating, designing and monitoring complex systems that store data, and optimising organisational knowledge managementR
  • Cyber security: protecting sensitive data and information through security architecture and developing disaster recovery and contingency plans
  • Full stack web development: building advanced user interfaces, developing representational state transfer application program interfaces (REST APIs), and designing user experience solutions
  • Further programming: applying advanced ICT languages to maintain security and manage data
  • IT strategy and organisational development: managing and communicating strategic ICT business solutions
  • Systems development and analysis: modelling and testing data objects, data processes and preferred ICT system solutions
  • Skills related to telecommunications and network engineering

Course Duration:

You will complete this course within 104 weeks which inclusive of;

  • 80 Weeks of delivery &
  • 24 weeks of Holidays/Term breaks

Weekly Delivery Schedule:

  • 2 Days: Face-to-Face in class
  • 5 Hours of E-learning

Course Entry Requirements:

You will be able to enrol in this qualification if you can demonstrate the following:

      • Be 18 years of age or above
      • Have completed a Diploma or Advanced Diploma from the Business Services Training Package (current or superseded equivalent versions)
English Language:
      • IELTS Test Score of 5.5; OR
      • TOEFL (iBT) Test Score of 46; OR
      • PTE Academic Test Score of 42; OR
      • Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE) Test Score of 47; OR
      • OET Pass Grade; OR
      • TOEFL (PBT) Test Score of 527 (only if IELTS is not available); OR
      • International student currently studying in Australia who have studied for a period of 6 months or more at AQF Certificate IV level or above.
